Importance of Diwali in Sikh History: Divali festival is important in sikh history as on this day 6th Sikh Guru Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji rescued and got 52 kings released from Jahangir's Gwalior Prison and they all came to Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple). Diwali is also called Bandhi Chod Diwas in Sikh History.
