Today(30th Aug) is the Sampooranta Diwas of Dhan Sri Guru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. On this day Sri Guru Gobind Singh completed the compilation of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji by adding Sri Guru Tegh Bahdur Sahib Ji' Baani to it.

The Sikhs round the world are ready to celebrate the 300th Gur-ta-Gaddi Diwas of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji with great enthusiasm. In this event lakhs of Nanak Naam Leva and Sikh Sangat round the world is expected to gather at Sri Abchal Nagar Hazoor Sahib, Nanded for the celebrations.

The program for GurtaGaddi Celebrations of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is as follows:

1. Program will start on 29th, October, 2008

2. 30th October, 2008 - 2nd November, 2008- Celebrations of 300th Gur-ta-Gaddi Gururab of Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj

3. 3rd Novemeber - 4rth November, 2008- Sachkhand Gaman (Joti Jot Purab) of Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj.

Back home in India, their is a great enthusiasm in the Sangat, which has already booked up all Sachkhand Express tickets to Hazoor Sahib. Most flights to Mahrastra, Nanded are already booked up too.

In this event of GurtaGaddi Celebrations, American President George Bush has also sent his message and greetings for all the sikhs round the world.
