Bhai Jasbir Singh Ji Khalsa (Khannewale), the charismatic Gursikh, kirtani and founder of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Charitable Eye Hospital, who passed away on October 14 2006, was posthumously awarded the title of “Panth Rattan”(Jewel of the Panth) on 22nd October 2006.

Another great news is that of Bhai Sahib Bhai Jasbir Singh Ji Khalsa's image will be installed at the Central Sikh Museum at Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar Sahib on September 2nd, 2008.

During his lifetime, Bhai Sahib stood tall for his selfless service to all of humanity, and his dedication and commitment to the Sikh Panth. He spent his entire life preaching the true concepts and philosophy of the Shabad Guru. He was a beacon of hope and inspiration to tens of thousands of Sikhs around the world.

It is indeed a befitting decision on the part of the SGPC to display the image of the 2nd non political Panthrattan at the Central Sikh Museum along side 1st Non political Panth Rattan Giani Sant Singh Ji Maskin. We request all sangat to attend the samagam.
